What is Reverse 911?

Reverse 911 is a patented system manufactured by Sigma Communications.  This system allows the 911 dispatcher to select a geographic area on a map which accesses the phone numbers of the businesses and residents in that area, record an emergency message, and send hundreds of warning calls an hour to that specific area.  This system will provide the community with timely and immediate notification of crucial information in times of crisis and emergencies such as natural disasters, missing children, and criminal activity.

If you do not wish to be included in the Reverse 911 system, please contact us via the email link below and provide your name, address, and telephone number.  We will delete your information from the system.

If you have a cell phone that you wish to be included with notifications sent to your area, please contact us via the email link below and provide your name, address, and cell number.  We will be happy to add your information to the system.

If you wish to have your cell number added to our database of if you wish to have your information deleted from our system, please click here.

What is Guardian Calling?

Guardian is an automated system that allows the 911 center to check on the health and well being of senior citizens, home-bound individuals, person with major health issues or disabilities, those in high risk situations, and others by scheduling automatic "check the welfare" calls.

The "check the welfare" calls are sent on pre-defined days and times to individuals or businesses to check on the recipients and receive feedback.  If the recipient does not respond to the system properly, the system will automatically notify concerned parties and the 911 dispatcher that a follow up is required.  These calls can be sent by voice or TDD/TTY.
